Inspired by a favorite at the local smoothie shop, I’ve taken to making this at home. The raw sprouted brown rice protein from Organic Living Superfoods is especially digestible, low fiber, unsweetened and unflavored and packed with protein. This is a game changer!
one frozen banana
8 oz homemade or store bought unsweetened almond milk (or preferred non dairy milk)
1 TBSP Raw Sprouted Brown Rice Protein (12g protein)
2 pitted deglet dates
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 TBSP unsweetened almond butter (or preferred nut or seed butter)
4-6 ice cubes, optional
Place all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth and creamy.
