This one is a bit like carrot cake and inspired from the Life Alive smoothie menu.
You can also juice your carrots first for a lighter smoothie recipe.
makes 2 servings
2 cups of water, coconut water or non dairy milk
2-3 chopped carrots
1 banana, fresh or frozen
3-4 dates or 1 TBSP maple syrup
pinch of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of vanilla
several ice cubes
1 scoop of your favorite protein powder, plain or vanilla *optional
Add all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
OPTIONAL ADDITIONS: 1 TBSP ground flax meal,1 TBSP chia seeds, small chunk or turmeric root or 1 Tsp ground powder, 1 TBSP Udo’s oil or coconut oil.
