3 cups water
1 cup steel cut oats (recommended Bob’s Red Mill) *BRM also sells certified GF oats
1/2-1 cup fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries strawberries)
1-2 Tbsp maple syrup
In a saucepan, heat 3 cups of water until it boils and add the steel cut oats. Turn the heat to a simmer and cover use a lid on the pan, stirring the oats every few minutes until all the water is absorbed.
Stir in the fresh fruit and maple syrup and serve immediately. This makes up to 4 servings. Any leftovers make a great snack reheated with a little non dairy milk.
