chocolate tofu puddin’

aawwww puddin’!

This is a super simple recipe for a quick chocolate fix. I use a food processor to make this but you can use a blender or hand mixer as well.

Ingredients

1 package plain silken tofu ( I use Nasoya, manufactured locally in Ayer, MA)

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/3 cup dutch cocoa powder ( I use Penzeys)

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 ripe avocado (optional, but delish)

First mix the tofu until very smooth and creamy.

Add the cocoa, maple syrup and mix again until smooth and thick.

Add vanilla last and mix again. Pour into dessert cups or one big bowl and chill in refrigerator covered until ready to eat.
